Today we woke up had breakfast and critiques of our previous paintings. i was so happy and relieved that my teacher said my last watercolor (the one of the leather stand) was my best painting yet! i was so happy. it also motivated me for when we went out to paint over a view of the city. we took the bus to a beautiful viewpoint and i started a painting of the duomo (i will post picts when its done). after painting and having a picnic lunch on a beautiful old wall where my feet dangled above a sheer 50ft drop into a beautiful view of the city, we left to come back to the house. at 3:30 i went to the market and bought some groceries. i rested and watched some loony toons in Italian... so fun, then i went to buy a piece of pizza for my dinner and then i talked to kyle on Skype. He had the best news for me... he told me that him and a few friends wanted to go to italy on there long weekend and they just happen to cross paths with us for a day in Rome, so i get to see my boyfriend in Rome!!!! it will be so fun, i cant wait! I am also flying to Oxford in 5 days to see him there. It was a good, relaxing day.
