Day 7: Uffizi Museum

Today was a pretty great day. We were given the chance to sleep in because we were not meeting until noon to go into town as a group, but it turned out pretty funny cause breakfast was still at 8:30. Being as everyone LOVES the food here, 20 out of the 23 of us still got up at the regular time to eat then we just took a lot of time to get ready. We all wore cute dresses and fixed our hair cause it was beautiful and sunny all day, it was wonderful.

So then at noon we took he bus to the Uffizi Museum to see a lot of amazing paintings by very well know artist, including the ONLY painting Michelangelo actually painted. It was really cool. We had a guided tour. After the museum a small group of us, me, Kate, Leriam, and Keith went shopping and exploring.

We came back on the bus and made it back just in time for another great Rosa meal. I promise that lady can make anything taste amazing. She made eggplant something tonight and all of our group went back for seconds and even thirds:) yesterday she made some squash flower deep-fried thing… a flower, and it was sooooo good! She’s just great at what she does I guess. All in all it was a really great day and it was a fun day.
