Day 8: Venice!!!

Today was an amazing day in Venice. We woke up very early and took the train into Venice. When we got there, we were left to roam around the city as we pleased. Kate, Leriam, Keith and I took off and went all over, but in St. Marks Square we played with the birds... it was so fun! I have plenty of pictures:) after that we had to go find some food (don’t worry, my mom always told me to be prepared, so I did have hand sanitizer:) ha, ha). We went to this little, quiet restaurant in this side street. It was very good! I had pesto pasta and thoroughly enjoyed it. After lunch we of course had to get gelato, so we did and then hung out in St. Marks Square a little longer. Then we decided that we just wanted to walk the quiet, less touristy places and walked around for the last two hours. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we had so much fun getting to know a little more Italy. I'll let the pictures tell the story...
