Day 14: A Marble Masterpiece... David

Today we woke up, had breakfast, painted in the classroom with some teacher instruction and then we had lunch. After lunch we headed to see the David stature at the Acedemia museum in Florence. The Museum was very small and not much to see, but the David, it was amazing, i just cant believe anyone could do that! I stood around it for a good 30 minutes and it was unbelievable!

So my mom taught me well... i have been known as "mommy" at some points on this trip because i always am prepared. today, one of our girls slipped and cut her food on the bus. i had a band-aid and purel cleaner and a tissue to sanitize it and bandage it. every time we ride the bus or train, we always sanitize our hands when we get off. and every time someone needs a tissue ior sunscreen, guess who they come to:) its just funny, but i am prepared!

Well, wish me luck, in another 7 hours i get in a taxi to Florence, a bus from Florence to Pisa, a plane for Pisa to Stansted, and i bus from Stansted to Oxford... and all in 10 hours time, but it will be worth it when i get to see Kyle! Ok, i will post as soon as i can, i am off to see Kyle in a few hours!!! yay!:) see you later.

I have no idea why someone would actually need sanitizer for their food. Italy must be crazy. And a band-aid too?

By the by...the fifth picture up from the bottom in the V-SG series is most likely the best picture you've ever taken. That needs to be framed and/or sold. A wonderful landscape...and landscapes are hard to shoot. Trust me...I've tried a lot and still suck.

I also wanted to ask how your oil paintings were going...we still don't have any pics.

I will hopefully see you in a while.

I Love You:
Drew.

p.s. Don't have too much fun with Kyle...I still have enough in savings to fly over there and kick his butt.
