Today we went to two more beautiful and amazing cities, first Volterra and then San Gimignano. The bus ride up was gorgeous!!! i have never seen such amazing scenery all in one trip like that! when we got to Volterra, we ate and just walked around and took pictures. it was a very small, not touristy city and i really loved it a lot. then we went to S. Gimignano afterwards to paint and explore. i did a watercolor painting and we had fun (just me and my friend Alina) exploring all on our own for 6 hours. we ate a very nice pasta dinner and had a cafe dessert afterwards. it was soooooo hot this afternoon... just what i imagine tuscany to be like in June. it was wonderful, but by the end of the day, it of course rained, just for us, on cue, right when we started painting:) i actually enjoyed the rain, it reminded me of home. its for sure been a great week, but its the half-way point of our trip and i am ready to see home and my family again! i should feel a little better in a day or so cause i finally get to fly to Oxford to see Kyle! I am so excited. so dont be worried when i dont post for a few days, cause i will be without my computer from Thursday-Sunday, i will take plenty of picts to show you. Anyway, it was another adventurous and good day!
