I have a stamp in my passport and it says England on it

As I am writing this there are church bells sounding the time right outside my window. Its so cool!

I made it here safe and sound. We left dallas yesterday at 5:30pm and got into Oxford at 9:30am (3:30am dallas time). I only slept for about an hour on the plane, while waking up in 20 minutes intervals. the ride wasn't to bad though. even with not sleeping the food and movies passed the time for me.

The group met up for a lunch together after we got to the houses. We organized our stuff into our rooms and got familiar with our houses. We are trying to keep moving and keep busy. the goal is to stay up until 9pm... which of course means I will have been up for like 30 some-odd hours... I think, I still cant quite think through the change yet:)

After lunch we went on a walking tour of the town... BEAUTIFUL!!! It is soooo green here. the weather is perfect. We pulled up to the house and it was in the mid 70's, slight cool breeze and sunny as can be. it was amazing to see so much history and unique everything all over the city. we are all trying to stay awake as best we can, but jet-lag is stranger than I imagined. i just thought it makes you tired for a few days, what I didn't catch onto was how it messes with your sense of deciphering days from each other. I cant sort out the last two days and break it down into what i could logically understand at this point. oh well, maybe tomorrow it will all make sense.

I took some random pictures around town, just of stuff I walked by. the first picture is of my view from my desk in my bedroom. the second is of my house here, and the third is the road I live on. and the fourth is just to show that this town was ready for me and my solid Welsh name to come.

I hope you enjoy the first instalment of pictures. theres not much more for me to write. I am sure that tomorrow will hold new adventures for me to write about, but that will be after a good, long nights rest!:)
