Day 3... Hogwarts and C.S. Lewis...

today started early!! at least for my tired body. I didn't go to bed last night until 1am cause 11:30-12:30pm is pretty much the only time I can talk with my family or Kyle on ichat and I wanted to talk. so we woke up at 7:50, i got ready then we had our watercolor class. we ate lunch, i made myself pasta (I am sure I will be making a lot of that because its the cheapest!) if you go out to eat here, the cheapest thing you can find is probably a sandwich around the corner and its still 3 Pounds, which is 6 american, just for a lunch sandwich... boy these prices are high!!!

Anyway, then we met up all together at 2:00 and went for a tour of Christ Church Cathedral. We say were Harry Potty scenes were filmed too:) There is a picture of me in Hogwarts and a picture of me standing on the same floor that all the Harry Potter characters stood on, as well as the queen of England:) he, he.

After the tour we got to worship in a very old fashioned Catholic service in Christ Church, complete with knees on pillows, choir boys and sang scripture chants. it was an experience I will never forget.

Then we went and ate at the "Eagle and Child", or better known as the pub that Tolkien and C.S. Lewis ate and drank at when they discussed their books and writings... the picture below of me holding the menu is there. (I ate the fish and Chips). today we also found out the Peter O'Toole and the writer of Atonement both live right around the corner from house 9... CRAZY cool!

It was a very full day, my feet are tired and my mind is full of new and exciting information.
