Kyles Northwest Visit

Kyle came last week to visit us up here in Oregon. He came on thursday. of course i had to work so my mom, dad and little sisters picked him up and took him on a tour of downtown Portland. After they were done, they came and picked me up from work and we came back to he house and dinner and got to spend some time together. on friday i had to work again, so Kyle, john and dad went golfing. they had a lot of fun. I got off work at 2pm that day so Kyle and i went and saw the Dark Night Batman, it was an amazing movie! then for dinner we had the Klobas', Ellisons, amanda and the Farris' over. we had a BBQ and it was great! we really had a fun time. then on saturday we packed a lunch and headed out to see the coast. we went to Tillamook first and got some ice cream:) then we went to cannon beach and then to seaside. it was pretty chilly, but beautiful. we ate dinner at Doogers and then slept on the way home. on sunday, we all headed to church and Kyle got to meet everyone... a lot of people! it was a good service. then after lunch we came back and had finger steaks and mashed potatoes... yum! After lunch, Kyle and i drove out to the gorge to explore. out was a beautiful, clear day and so we started out at Larch mountain and then crown point and finally multnomah falls. it was fun just to hang out the two of us and see beautiful Oregon. then for dinner, the Ellisons and kyle and I went to edgefield McMinnamins. it was really good! we looked around for a while and had great conversations, it was a great night. then we came back, Kyle said his goodbyes and i took him to fly out at 5am monday morning... it was early! :) i miss him a whole lot already, but i sure am glad he came!
